          Set on the sandy shores of Goa at  Candolim Beach Goa India , Sunburn offers a varied experience even for those not really into electronic music. There are volleyball matches on the beach, a rock-climbing wall and even a hooka joint to unwind. It is a 3 day festival between 27, 28 and 29th of December 2009.The festival closes at 10 pm in the evening, everyday.

Sunburn Festival ‘Goa 2009’ is the Asia’s biggest Electronic Fest which annually organizes the best global talent from (Holland, India, Ibiza, Austria, France, Australia, UK, Sweden and Singapore) in India to entertain and promote a sense of oneness and harmony with the richness of music and Dance. It had 35 local and international DJ’s spinning in Goa, at the popular Candolim beach. There is no specific dress code. No parade is going to be organized by the heads. The music is completely trance i.e. Electronic music. Every year more than 5000 people from all over the world gather at Candolim beach to be a part of this grand event.

Sunburn, a common platform to world’s best Disc Jockeys (DJs), aims to bring best talent at the world’s most preferred tourists destination – Goa. It is counted amongst the world’s best 20 international music festivals and is definitely worth a visit.

“Sunburn is a festival which allows you to be who you are and fortunately through the platform of music which I think is a universal language of celebration. We are really fortunate that Goa has India’s own festival of music and dance called Sunburn which is not only India’s largest but also Asia’s number one,” said Singh.
